NEWSLETTER MAY 2019 SAN ANDRES GUATEMALA
Check out what God has been doing in our community this month!!
Receive our most cordial greetings from our family.
Although time passes, I know that the promises of God will be fulfilled in us and in San Andres Semetabaj Guatemala. In the Lord nothing will be lost, because we know that God will keep us in perfect peace if we persevere in seeking Him. That is our security.
Isaiah 26:3 says:
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee
Psalm 16:6 says:
The lines fell in delightful places and the inheritance that has touched me is beautiful.
Being in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time is like a song pleasing to the ears of God. That is our inheritance, this is what I want to do with our life, to provoke a pleasant sound for God. In all this time serving in San Andres, we have learned that the Love of God is the one that sustains us, is the one that lifts us when we fall, and also gives us peace and security in the midst of storms. We are totally convinced that, in the days to come, God is in control. God never loses control. He is sitting on His throne and He rules.
“God hath reigned over nations, God hath sat on His holy throne”.
Please enjoy the result of your prayers and love towards our community.
In the month of May we received a wonderful visit.
Pastor Bob and his team shared their love of Christ with the children and members of our congregation. Their visit was also an opportunity for our children and the members of the Church to share God’s Love with our visitors. It was a wonderfully refreshing time for everyone.
Theresa and Cindy accompanied me to make purchases in the market, for children’s breakfast. Phil shared a very important and enjoyable preaching about trust in God and his family’s experiences as a missionary family.
Wow !! it was a good time!!
Thank you Pastor Bob, Phil, Cindy and Theresa for taking the time to visit us and share the love Jesus with our community
Among all the children that the Lord allows me to serve, I have Esteban… A child with many physical deficiencies but with big dreams! Esteban is part of our project “CREE” for children.
“CREE” in Spanish means “Believe”.
Esteban is a faithful assistant to the classes and very participative.
We took Esteban and his brothers to eat ice cream, cut their hair and celebrate his birthday, and the joy we could see on his face was dazzling! The photos register his joy. We love these special moments in our service to God.
They are a gift for us!
I dream that the Holy Spirit Influences our entire community with His Glory and Holiness. That each area of society will be touched by the Grace and Salvation of God. For this reason we open social spaces where people have the opportunity to finish their formal studies, but at the same time we are sowing the Holy Scriptures in their hearts. This is the group of students from our small CREE Institute. And we seek that each person can Believe first in God and then in what God can do through them.
God has opened doors for us in the community !!
We can minister to women and bring hope through the Word of God.
Working with children, it’s great.
The challenges are great, patience must be constant, but the fruits are invaluable. See a child practicing godly ways or worship with his family, because he learned it in our meetings, the supremely beautiful !!
And you are part of this change in the children of San Andres.
Glory to God!!
Thank you very much for each prayer to us, for each visit, for each offering.
Thank you for showing the extraordinary work of God.
Thank you Lighthouse Community Church for covering us in love!!
Thank you beloved Family!
We pray that you have a full month of God’s favor.
